A year ago Microsoft has released its gaming box competing with PS4 which is the called Xbox One Elite controller, and proved to be popular among hardcore gamers. Sony has made it pretty clear that with PlayStation 4 Pro they are targeting serious gamer audience.

The gaming industry usually offer more than one type of controller for a console, like in both Xbox and Nintendo users to play their games with different controllers.  But Sony actually doesn't believe in this way of thinking, and this is confirmed when PlayStation 4 Pro will not have Elite Controller.

In an interview with The Verge, Sony's Mark Cerny, revealed that the latest PS4 Pro will not be coming with more than one controller. On asking him about the potential of the PS4 Pro getting a higher-end controller he said, "we want to keep PlayStation 4 as a single unified audience." He also added that they need to be quite careful to the enhancements we add to the controller.

Cerny also explained on the GPU's performance in PlayStation 4 Pro and how it is different from its predecessor. "PS4 Pro does not use an entirely new GPU; instead, it is using a 'double-sized one.' PS4 Pro comes with a second identical GPU configured next to the original, carrying a 14% boost in the frequency i.e. 911MHz," he told The Verge.

These all will double the processing power of the PS4 Pro. He also added the fact that PS4 Pro will use the same 8 core Jaguar CPU cores, but it is clocked at a higher speed, reports Gamepur

Cerny also stated that PS4 Pro will be coming with an additional 1GB DRAM, which can be used between apps and games for faster switching. Also the games on PS4 Pro will make uses of 5.5GB of RAM and the remaining will be used for PS4 Pro's interface, which will give you a perfect gaming experience.

The PS4 Pro will be using a SATA 3.0 interface, that will support solid-state drives that scale up to 6GB/s, that is the double speed of the standard PS4's SATA 2.0 interface.

This time Sony is not working on the Elite controller for PlayStation. If you want an Elite Controller for your PS4, you can get some third party ones that are made. The Emio Elite Controller is going to be launched on November 10 this year and is priced for $89.99. Players can use this, but there is a warning that it is not officially licensed.

The PlayStation 4 Pro will launch on November 10th with the price tag of $399.
