"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 just started with a bang last September. The geeky-romantic-comedy show's Season 10 premiere snatched a whopping 21.5 million viewership. Really, there is no denying how "The Big Bang Theory" is still as famous and funny as before.

Though, as early as now, fans of the hit CBS show is already eager to know if there will be a "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11. Especially now that there are rumors going around that the "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 will be the show's last season. Why is "The Big Bang Theory" being cancelled?

Apparently, the looming cancellation is because of the actors' very high salary demands. The geeky but equally funny main stays of "The Big Bang Theory" are charging more than half of the cost of production per episode.

Kaley Cuoco (Penny), Johnny Galecki (Dr. Leonard Hofstadter) and Jim Parsons (Dr. Sheldon Cooper) are the highest comedy actors in TV today. The main trio are earning $1 million each per episode of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10. This three-year deal was forged in 2014 and will end this season.

Meanwhile, Simon Helberg (Howard Wolowitz) and Kunal Nayyar (Dr. Rajesh Koothrappali) are both earning $900,000 per episode.

Despite the actors' high salaries, an insider said that "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11 will happen in the future. After all, the actors are said to be committed to protecting the show's legacy during its final seasons.

Meanwhile, fans are hoping that "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 will finally reveal Penny's maiden name. Up to now, Kaley Cuoco's character's maiden name is still a mystery to fans.
