Now that iOS 10 is here, many iPhone users must have upgraded their smartphone with the latest operating system. Though new emojis and iMessage have been grabbing the limelight, there is a lot more to the iOS 10 than these two.

iOS 10 operating system has many hidden features that users can utilize in their favor, reports CBS News.

One can move to the good old days of 'slide-to-unlock' feature with the Touch ID option as it lets one do everything just by pressing the home button. The feature is back and can be reset just by going to Settings, clicking General, Accessibility and then Home Button and lastly, Rest Finger to open.

A similar option is also available in terms of browsing and one can close all the open tabs in Safari with merely one click. All that needs to be done is open Safari, click on the boxes in the right corner and then hold down 'Done.' The tabs will be closed.

iOS 10 also makes it possible for Siri to announce the caller when the user is wearing headphones. This is really a blessing for music lovers, who are hooked to their headphones, most of the time.

Car owners too have reasons to cheer as the feature 'Show Parked Location' drops a pin on the car on Apple Maps, offering directions towards the vehicle. To enable the feature, one has to turn on 'Show Parked Location' in Settings and connect the phone to the Bluetooth or CarPlay Stereo. Those who have weak eyesight can use the new magnifying feature to take a closer look at things. It also helps in capturing high-quality zoomed-in photographs.

Space and clarity have also found place in the updated iOS 10 as one can remove ads and other promotions on websites while browsing on Safari. Once enabled, it will be just photos and text. By turning on the 'optimize storage' option, one can save space on the phone as well. A simple click will help to get rid of mailing list subscription too.

Last but not the least, searching on Safari has become swifter as one can quickly find what one is looking for.
