As the days of 'The Walking Dead' Season 7, inch closer, the excitement of fans is rising to new highs but truth be told, they are also apprehensive about the premiere episode. Everyone is worried about the identity of Negan's victim and now Jeffrey Dean Morgan has hinted at multiple killings at the hands of the villain.

'The Walking Dead' actor has teased about multiple killings. In a recent interview, he appeared to confirm the notorious theory of Negan killing more than one member from Rick's group. While speaking to Den of Geek, he said that Negan is not afraid to bash skulls and he is not just going to kill one person, reports ComicBook.com.

However, when asked about these comments at the promotion of his film Desierto, he sounded ambiguous. He denied saying Negan kills more than one person. Morgan also said that Negan is doing the same things that Rick and group have been doing for seven years and thus, he is not necessarily a villain.

Well, villain or hero or something in between, only time will decide but the point is, it is not yet clear if 'The Walking Dead' Season 7 premiere will see multiple deaths. Still, the suspense about the victim/victims is sure to come to an end, claims Business Insider. According to the newspaper, showrunner Scott Gimple has assured fans about the same and said that the show would not make viewers wait for a few episodes to learn the fate of Rick's group.

What is more, 'The Walking Dead' Season 7 would be larger than previous seasons. Executive producer Gale Anne Hurd has said that they are going to explore new characters and Shiva and Ezekiel would be two of them. He said that the show has been a big one but it has been contained and now things will change in the next season.

'The Walking Dead' Season 7 premieres on AMC on Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. ET.
