The Phoenix Suns are one of the teams that had a disappointing record last season. Winning only 23 games out of 82 that placed them on the 14th spot in the Western Conference, second to last in that division. Although they had a solid roster, injuries to their superstars didn't help the cause of the team to have a decent outing.

And as the 2016-2017 NBA season is about to begin just a couple of weeks from now and with preseason games having started, the Suns are now looking for ways to upgrade their lineup. Rumors are spreading that the Suns looks to trade one of their superstar point guards and hope to get a feasible deal for him.

According to Sportsrageous, the Suns placed Brandon Knight on the trading block hoping for a good deal in return. Aside from Knight, the Suns also placed Eric Bledsoe on the trade market but it seems that Knight will be the first one to go. Rumors are now spreading that the possible destination for Knight is the Philadelphia 76ers.

The trade scenario stated in the report suggests that Knight may be sent to the Sixers in exchange for Nerlens Noel or Jahlil Okafor. Noel and Okafor have been regulars in this offseason's trade rumors and there's a possibility that one of them will be traded. One reason as well is the imminent return of Joel Embiid to the lineup, which will make the Sixers' frontcourt overcrowded, hence the need to unload either Noel or Okafor.

In a separate report by the Christian Post, the addition of Knight to the Sixers will be a big boost to their backcourt and will also help solve their frontcourt problem. As for the Suns, adding up Noel or Okafor in their roster will give them a future superstar, aside from upgrading their frontcourt. Both Noel are Okafor are deemed to be defensive beasts in the future because of their skills to protect the rim.

The report also said that there is a brewing talk between the Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers to strike a trade before the season begins. Rumor has it thatthe Pacers will send their franchise player Paul George to the Bulls in exchange for Jimmy Butler, Doug McDermott, and Denzel Valentine.

Earlier reports have this tackled, but it looks like that this deal will not happen at the nearest possible time.
