It's official. OnePlus has finally received the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Update with OxygenOS 3.1.2.

OnePlus has finally unveiled the Marshmallow update to OnePlus X. The update will be in the form of OxygenOS 3.1.2 and will be coming soon to the devices over the air (OTA).

Users can expect a much worthy technology with the new update as it is said to entail never-ending updates in order to make OnePlus X more effective.

In addition to that, users will be able to experience much improved icon packs, a developed UX, and wallpaper picker in the set of launcher upgrades on their respective devices, according to Gadgets.

The company on its forum page announced that the Android security patch for the month of October will be added as part of the update and the company has made sure that bugs are fixed permanently.

A rampant inconvenience, which involves the crashing of phone while using Facebook and Facebook messenger will also be addressed as part of the new update.

In the upcoming OnePlus Android Marshmallow update, users can long-press the boards in Shelf to rearrange and can customize them according to their preference, maintains GSMarena.

You can install the Android Marshmallow update on OnePlus X by:

1. Open Settings

 2. Click on System menu and choose About device.

3. Tap the available option to download it manually

4. Click OK and then Start.

 5. Once it restarts, tap OK on the restart message.
