It looks like EA Maxis has a lot of new features to offer with its new and upcoming "The Sims 4" expansion pack, "The Sims 4: City Living."

Last week, the life simulator game developer released a new trailer for "The Sims 4: City Living" expansion, detailing one of the DLC's newest features, Apartment.

In the official trailer for the feature, the company gives gamers an idea on what to expect from the apartments in the newest world being prepared for "The Sims 4," San Myshuno.

The expansion pack offers apartment traits, making it easier for gamers to select which kind of apartment would be best suited for their "Sims" character. There are apartments with good schools, with a party place, a home studio, a romantic aura, a chef's kitchen and then apartments that are downright filthy.

Still, starting out in the city can be tough for gamers with newbies ending up in cheap apartments during their first run. One of the producers of the expansion pack, JM Sudsina has just revealed on his Twitter account that that the first homes of many "Sims" users will host two default traits, either cursed or filthy.

The producers also teased that the company was developing a lot of traits for the pack, another of which include Quake, a trait which adds a few rumbles to the area. The ultimate apartment that players can aim for in San Myshuno is the penthouse which stands on top of a highrise building and allows gamers to build pools and add in all sorts of areas, even a basket ball court.

Though the expansion pack doesn't allow gamers to change the outer look of their apartment, their Sims can add bedrooms and redecorate the place if they'd like.
