Saiyan Island, the anime and manga media outfit confirmed that this time around there will be a two-week gap before the one-hour special episode is aired. According to Yibada, this one-hour special episode will be a combined portrayal of what was supposed to happen in episodes 476 and 477.

The title of episode 476 is "The Final Battle." As the title suggests, the episode aired on Sept. 29, will show the epic battle between Sasuke and Naruto at the Valley of End. This episode covers chapters 494 to 498 of the Naruto Shippuden manga series.

The 477th episode has not been given any title yet. If the initial 220 episodes of the Naruto series (original) are taken into account, the forthcoming episode of Naruto Shippuden would be the 697th episode of the anime series.

The fans are expecting to see something explosive happen between the two famous Ninjas - Naruto and Sasuke. Both the characters are expected to put their best foot forward and use defensive shots that they have learned and experienced during all their previous fights.

The episode released by Studio Pierrot will run for almost an hour, as it is expected to be a final episode. The 698th episode of the anime series, episode 478, is rumored to depict the reunion of the two shinobis of the leaf, according to Christian Post. The two will reunite to rectify the mistakes conducted in the past.

On the other hand, episode 479 will focus on the things that occur after the 4th Great Shinobi War. This is covered as an epilogue in chapter 700 of the series.
