We all know that John Cena is the most popular WWE professional wrestler unto this moment. He started his career as a pro wrestler in 1999 and later discovered by the World Wrestling Federation (now called WWE) and signed him in 2001.

He later elevated the status of the WWE into greater heights after Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson did it. He is being recognized as the "face of WWE" for what he did and later described as WWE's franchise player.

But now, rumors have it that The Cenation Leader is going to leave the WWE for good.

According to The Inquisitr, in few weeks at WWE No Mercy, Cena will compete for the title of WWE World Champion against titleholder AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose in a Triple Threat Match. The report also says that it could be Cena's last appearance for quite some time.

On a separate report of Wrestling Inc., Cena will be taking a long break from WWE to film the second season of American Grit in mid-October. The first season of American Grit began filming last year and Cena is expected to be out until late December to finish it. The report also disclosed that his last taping will be on Oct. 11 during a Smackdown event in San Jose, California before the hiatus. He is also set to appear at the Survivor Series on Nov. 20 but after that, no words is released regarding what will be his status.

No one also notices that John Cena help other WWE superstars to ascend to stardom. The likes of Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, The Shields and others. But still, many fans still booed him for being the "good guy".  It's hard to imagine that Cena will leave the franchise that he represents for many years.

Nevertheless, this is still speculation but as the Cenation Leader always tell and pronounce "Never Give Up".
