Michael Schumacher health update stating that the player is now able to walk and stand up was published by a number of media sources recently. However, the ex-Formula One player's lawyer has slammed all these reports and have framed them as totally "false."

Ever since Schumacher suffered the fatal injury during the skiing accident, the player's fans have been praying for his speedy recovery. However, all this time has been particularly challenging for Schumacher's family, who does not only struggling with their son, but are also disappointed by how the media agencies have been circulating rumors about his health.

According to CNN, Schumacher's lawyer Felix Damm told the publication that the former Formula One champion "cannot stand even with the aid of his special therapists." The revelation was initially made by Damm at a German court, during Schumacher's family lawsuit discussion against the Die Bunte magazine.

The magazine reportedly published a story in December 2015, stating that Schumacher is making a speedy recovery and is now able to take small steps with the help of his assistants. The player's family, who suffers from both internal and external battles everyday, decided to sue the publication for making false claims and for intruding into their privacy. The final verdict on the lawsuit is due in October 2016.

Michael Schumacher suffered fatal injuries on his health in an accident that took place in the French Alps. Following two critical brain surgeries, he was placed on medically-induced coma in France. Later, he was transferred to a Lausanne hospital before finally being shifted to his home in Switzerland.
