Since NCIS Los Angeles Season 8 will be released soon, reports have it that a lot of changes in the show's plot and characters are about to happen in this season, including the NCIS Los Angeles' disband and their travel to Syria 

The new season of NCIS Los Angeles will start with the finale for the last season which is heavily focused on Tahir and his troops, one of which ended up wooded in Syria and the team is said to travel in the place in order to rescue him. 

According to TV Line  the newest season of NCIS Los Angeles  is intense, having mentions about " High-Value Target" and " Belly of the Beast" on the other hand it is also said that the Secretary of Defense will take over  NCIS Los Angeles'  team since it would possibly end up out of control. 

On the other hand, Vine Report stated Granger and Hetty suspected that there is a "Judas Iscariot" in the  NCIS Los Angeles team which lead up to a close monitoring of the team's actions. Callen is also sent to hunt terrorist down in Syria who will most probably be Tahir.

A series of shocking events will follow the teams move to Syria, most likely the same with the place's haunted history and disturbed present due to ISIS threat and other terrorist groups around. 

All in all, NCIS Los Angeles would stay intact even with the mole rumor around the team, however, there would probably be more deaths in this latest season than the previous ones.
