Apple's much-talked about launch event revealed the new specs of the iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 2. It has been rumored that Apple will also unveil new specs of several other devices but fans were left disappointed when the anticipated iPad Mini 5 was not mentioned on the launch.

Apple's media event on September 7 didn't reveal a single thing about the equally-anticipated iPad Mini 5, so potential customers and users of the product are going to have to wait a little longer. In relation to this, PC Advisor has reported that Apple may hold another media event on March 2017 that will include the announcement for iPad Mini 5.

The release of iPad Mini 4 on 2015 was a major hit and it was packed with major upgrades and interesting features that instantly captured the attention of potential buyers around the world.

However, according to reports from Christian Daily, the upcoming iteration of iPad Mini series may not yet be unveiled this year, and that other new Apple products that were not launched on the recent Apple event might get revealed next year on March.

According to NeuroGadget, the internal storage for the iPad mini 5 may be upgraded up to 256 GB. The publication also believes that the tablet will come with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front camera.

It is also reported that the new iPad Mini 5 will sport a slimmer and lighter design and said to carry a Series 7000 aluminum casing, which was used in the development of the popular iPhone 6s.

The handset is also speculated to be powered by an A9 processor from Apple and will run iOS 10 straight out of the box. Naturally, Apple's latest gen chipset and OS will offer improved graphics and overall performance.

As of now, Apple has yet to confirm these speculations about the much anticipated Apple product but consumers are beyond excited for the tech industry's announcement soon.
