Josh Duggar may have 'retired' from his embarrassing life, but the rumors and ill-effects of his deeds continue to leave a mark on his family, and generate quite a lot of speculations, media attention and conflict even within the family.

The latest rumor---not really a fact---is that the elder Duggars are getting divorced. The main clue, according to celebdirtylaundry, citing InTouchWeekly, is that after the Josh Duggar scandals broke out, the media has been abuzz with news of the parents' expected showdown. Jim Bob is reported to be open to taking Josh back into the family, but the mother Michelle is trying to abandon him. Sadly, not only the parents, but the entire family is said to be locking horns over the issue.

Another fact---not rumor---is that for the Duggars, it may be goodbye to TV. Advertisers are moving away in swarms, and the new reality show, "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" is not getting its expected audience.

A number of companies are washing their hands off from the Duggar TV show---Gerber Life, Trivago, Hotwire and Thumbtack are part of the growing list. The ratings for "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," has simply not lived up to the ratings of "19 Kids and Counting", according to media reports.

Hence "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" is not likely to continue on TLC. If the show does not earn money to pull on, the TLC network will pull out of the show rather than lose its advertisers. As the source of their livelihood dries up, the parents are reported to be finding it difficult to finance the entire family, and are contemplating moving apart.

However, another section of media has debunked the reports, and confirms that the couple isn't splitting. In a recent blog post on their website, the parents shared some thoughts about marriage, with Michelle's arms wrapped around Jim Bob. They do not look anything other than devoted to each other. How then are they potential divorcees?

Gossip Cop is quick to dismiss the entire rumour, slamming the magazine for missing out that nothing much regarding the parental divorce was mentioned in the article by InTouch. "Celeb Dirty Laundry would have known this if it actually read the article. Instead, it made an untrue assumption and used it for a completely false post," it explained.
