Pokémon Go is non-arguably the most popular app right now. More and more people are being lured in playing this game. And while some are satisfied already just by catching some Pokémon, some players are not easily satisfied and really want to catch 'em all.

These Pokémon Go players resort to cheating by using programs, cheats and hacks that give them certain benefits like having access to exact locations of the Pokémon. Some players have also cheated their locations so they can access Poké Stops, Gyms and Pokémon easily even without physically leaving their locations.

The co-developer of the popular game, Niantic Labs, however are already aware of such happenings and are taking matters in their own hands by soft banning the players who are cheating. Although there are steps players can take to un-ban themselves from the game, the best decision still is not to cheat and play the game honestly as everyone else.

Just recently, a Pokémon Go Player announced a theory on Reddit and tested it, which resulted to the banning of a whole country. With the use of many SIM cards that are tied to one IP address used by Proximus (biggest cell phone company in Belgium), he commenced synchronized scans of Pokémon Go servers. Niantic ultimately found out about it and banned the IP Address. Pokémon Go Players in Belgium have been unable to access the game since then.

The same Pokémon Go Player later said that he did not actually proceed with the testing and that Niantic blocked the IP Address upon reading his theory. But the damage has been done and Belgium was already banned from playing Pokémon Go for a couple of days.

May this serve as a reminder for all Pokémon Go players that the Pokémon Go Community does not tolerate any cheating and that the game was made for fun and enjoyment of everyone.
