Anticipation is building for Apple's next iPhone, dubbed the iPhone 7, as alleged photos of the device made its way to the Internet Thursday.

The new device is expected to come with several features that have been rumored for months,  if the photos are to be believed.

The camera is notably bigger, while the antenna line across the back has been moved to the bottom of the device. There are also some changes internally as well.

Steve Hemmerstoffer of Nowhereelse.fr took told Twitter late Wednesday that a source close to him has revealed the iPhone 7 will receive the largest iPhone battery upgrade in the line's history.

Hemmerstoffer says the iPhone 7's battery capacity will jump to nearly 15% more capacity over the iPhone 6S, an increase from 1715 mAh to 1960 mAh in real terms. This should give the device nearly 10hours of continuous use.

It's also expected that the new phone will start with 32GB of data, instead of the 16 that current models do, according to supply chain investigations from IHS technology.

The new iPhone also does away with the vaulted headphone jack, which makes room for the battery, but means users will now need Bluetooth headphones or an extension protruding from Apple's proprietary lightning jack.

And the image, obtained by Macitynet, indicates that Apple would launch three iPhone versions this year, including a 4.7-inch iPhone 7 and two 5.5-inch models, the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro.

The tech giant usually reveals its next smartphone in early September so it can see out the end of the year on a high.
