The fans that are eagerly waiting for the new "God of War 4" will be in for many surprises. The developers are giving the famous series a makeover after dishing out seven successful installments. However, to prevent franchise fatigue from plaguing the iconic game, there will be several changes brought about in the game.

"God of War 4" will notice series of changes such as, Kratos's temperament, a new family for him and setting changes. Most significantly, the much talked about change includes a change in its gameplay.

Speculations are rife about Kratos's son, to be introduced in "God of War 4," as has been previously reported. This new character will not be confined to the "GOW 4" narrative only, but will have a crucial part in the gameplay.

According to Jeet Shroff, gameplay engineering lead, it is possible to control/interact with Kratos' son by using the "son button." This button will be mapped to one of the buttons on DualShock 4. This feature will allow integration of Kratos' son into combat mode of the game.

The first thing that gamers, who are familiar with "God of War," will notice is the camera angle. According to the Santa Monica developers, this change will allow the players to deeply engage with the story as well as the combat. They believe that it is possible to accomplish this by giving its players a fresh vantage point in "God of War 4."

Rumor has it that "God of War 4" will release on PS4 sometime during 2016 Holiday season.
