According to recent rumors, the upcoming season 6 of "American Horror Story" will be released in October, just like its previous seasons. However, there is no official announcement about the show's actual release date or the title.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is not the only actor who has been confirmed for the sixth season. Leslie Jordan is also said to join the upcoming show in its latest season. According to the actor, he almost became an AHS regular after he appeared in "American Horror Story: Coven." For now, the actor did not divulge any more details about the role he will play.

Jordan, however, revealed in an interview that he will start filming for AHS on July 17 and is looking forward to work with Lady Gaga. He also admitted that he didn't expect to be approached again by Ryan Murphy as he initially turned him down. But he did and now Jordan is part of the show.

According to rumors, there is a possibility that the upcoming season of the show will be based on Slender Man. While the speculations indicate that the new season's idea stemmed from outside the AHS writer team, but another report insisted that the show's sixth season inspiration has already been taken from its last seasons.

The previous season, "American Horror Story: Hotel," concluded for quite sometime. Now the fans are eagerly awaiting the next season. The popular show has already won several accolades such as 71 Emmy nominations and 13 wins, just through its first four seasons.
