Former Baylor defensive lineman Shawn Oakman isn't just one of the most physically imposing players coming out in the 2016 NFL Draft - Oakman may soon, in fact, be one of the most physically imposing players in the entire league.

Of course, Oakman has to be drafted first, and considering he's viewed as something of a project, there's no telling just where the one-time Bear will land later this month.

But while Oakman's stock was already in question due to his lack of polish and pass rush moves, a recent sexual assault investigation certainly isn't going to help things either.

Oakman's home became the center of an investigation this week into an assault that, according to the alleged victim, was perpetrated by Oakman.

Per the victim, she met Oakman at a Baylor-area bar called Scruffy Murphy's late Saturday night, early Sunday morning. Oakman invited her back to his apartment where Oakman proceeded to "forcibly" remove her clothes and then "forced her onto the bed and proceeded to sexually assault her."

Oakman contends that the sex was consensual.

Oakman's agent Kennard McGuire addressed the investigation, saying that "no charges" have been filed and indicating that he and Oakman have been cooperating fully with police.

At this point, no charges have been filed, but the investigation remains ongoing.

This isn't the first time that Oakman has found trouble, though under very different circumstances. Oakman started his college football career as a member of the Penn State Nittany Lions, but was dismissed after he was caught stealing a sandwich and a drink from a campus convenience store.

Oakman had apparently run out of credits on his mean plan, which would have been understandable, but then he grabbed the wrist of the clerk when he was accused of stealing.

Oakman was charged with a misdemeanor.

On Sunday, police removed bedding from Oakman's home. They also sought DNA evidence from the woman's clothing and jewelry.

Oakman spent three seasons at Baylor. During that time, he set the school record for sacks (17.5) and was named a third-team All-American.

He is viewed as a mid- to late-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
