Bollywood actress and "Quantico" star Priyanka Chopra has reportedly been approached for a woman-centric film to be produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF).

Speculations are rife that YRF's Aditya Chopra is keen to cast Priyanka for his next production venture. Bollywood's desi girl is currently busy with her international projects. The production house has apparently emailed script to her and is waiting for confirmation.

"He is keen to cast Priyanka for his next production venture which will be a woman-centric film. The YRF team has e-mailed the script to her and is waiting for a confirmation," a source close to production house said.

The 33-year-old actress is likely to give her nod for the project when she returns to India. "Priyanka has received the script and has informed us that she will take a final call once she's back in India. Things are looking positive for us, but we are keeping our fingers crossed. At the moment, we are in the process of finalising the director," the source added. Meanwhile, there has not been an official confirmation from either side.

Chopra is currently busy with shooting American television series "Quantico." The "Jai Gangajal" actress is also going to make her Hollywood debut in the "Baywatch" remake. She will be playing a negative character in the action drama, which features Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Zac Efron, Jon Bass, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach and Ilfenesh Hadera in lead roles.

"I'm proud of being Indian, but I don't think I need to be labeled based on where I am from. By saying 'Bollywood'-first of all, we're not an offshoot of Hollywood, we're the Indian film industry that produces a tremendous array of films every year," the leading Bollywood actress said in an interview.

"I'm very grateful to ABC for casting me in Quantico. It was based on my merit, not on my ethnicity. I was a huge Baywatch fan growing up. So it's so exciting to be a part of this film. And I get to play the villain, which I haven't done before," the "Bajirao Mastani" said on her Hollywood debut.
