"Glee" has cast Skylar Astin to play Jean-Baptiste, the lead singer of the choir Throat Explosions. According to TV Line, Astin will appear in an episode scheduled to air in March. Throat Explosions was first introduced in the episode "A Katy or A Gaga" when Will told the New Directions that the Indiana group will be one of the teams they will compete against for the Nationals.

Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) and Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss) immediately felt threatened by the Throat Explosions because like the New Directions the group consists of "outsiders." Up until that point that was one of the things that set the New Directions apart from other groups.

The Throat Explosions seems to be one of the best groups in the area besides Vocal Adrenaline and The Warbles. Also airing in March will be "Glee's" 100th episode special. It's reported that the episode will air March 18, 2014 and will feature many of the original cast members.

So far it's been confirmed that Quinn (Dianna Agron), Brittany (Heather Morris), Puck (Mark Saling), Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Rhodes (Kristin Chenoweth) have been confirmed to make appearances in the episode.

One main character who won't be returning is Terri Schuester (Jessalyn Gilsig), TV Line reports. Terri was married to her high school sweetheart Will Schuester. She worked part-time as a Sheets 'N' Things employee until she quit to take a job as the McKinley High nurse after Sue Sylvester told her that Will was having an affair with Emma Pillsbury.

Terri was ultimately fired as the nurse and faked a pregnancy - she even went as far as to come up with a plan to "adopt" Quinn's baby - to keep Will in the marriage. It didn't work and Will found out she was faking and left her. He eventually married Emma.
