Unlike its competitor Apple, Microsoft is getting in the holiday spirit by offering full Black Friday discount sales on some of its more popular products.

Microsoft's holiday store went live a few hours early last night with a number of deals on gadgets and other popular tech like the Lumia smartphones and the Surface tablet.

According to PCMag, which published some of the deals around midnight on Black Friday, three of the gadgets on the site were already sold out including a no-contract Lumia 520 for AT&T, the Dell Inspiron 15z laptop for $399 and the 250GB Xbox 360 console for $199.99 are all out of stock.

Some of the discounts still available include a Microsoft Surface tablet for just $199, down from $349. Other deals include a Surface bundle with a 32GB tablet, a choice of select Surface Sleeves with a $25 Windows Store app and games card and either a new backlit Type Cover 2 or a Touch Cover starting at $368, a savings of up to $250.

Surface Sleeves are reportedly running at 35 percent off, while a Surface Free Cover Holiday Bundle includes the Surface tablet of your choice, a backlit Type Cover 2 and free Touchcover starting at $478.88.

If you're interested in a touch-screen PC, offers include: "Gateway NV570P10u for $329 (down from $649); the Lenovo IdeaPad S415 for $399 (down from $479); the HP Pavilion TouchSmart 10-e010nr for $249 (down from $299); and the Dell XPS 18 All-in-One with an Intel Core i5 for $999, down from $1,349," according to price listing found by PCMag.

Meanwhile, on the Windows Phone end of the sales, the Nokia Lumia 521 with no contract from T-Mobile is running at $79 ($20 off). The Nokia Lumia 1520 for AT&T is $99 ($100 off). The 41-megapixel Nokia Lumia 1020 for AT&T is starting at a $199 discount for $99. Finally, the Samsung Ativ S Neo for Sprint is only $49, down from $199.
