Gwen Stefani is wearing her heart on her sleeve when it comes to her relationship with her new beau Blake Shelton. The No Doubt frontwoman called into Los Angeles radio station K-Earth 101's Morning Show with Gary Bryan to talk about the music video for her new single "Make Me Like You" and revealed who inspired the sweet lyrics.

The 46-year-old singer and fashion designer dished about what it was like preparing for and filming the live music video for "Make Me Like You" with Target during a live commercial break during the 58th annual Grammy Awards this past Monday, according to K-Earth 101. In the chorus, Stefani sings the lyrics, "Why you have to go and make me like you? / Yeah, this is a feeling I'm not used to / Why you have to go and make me like you / I'm so mad at you 'cause now you got me missing you."

The song's lyrics tell a story of new love, and Bryan's co-host Lisa Stanley grilled the "Hollaback Girl" singer and asked if the lyrics are about her country crooner boyfriend Blake Shelton.

"I mean come on, it's so easy!" Stefani answered. "Honestly it's so embarrassing when people ask 'cause it's like my lyrics are so transparent. I'm not hiding anything."

Stefani and Shelton met while working together as co-coaches on the hit NBC singing competition reality series "The Voice" and the two sparked dating rumors shortly after their respective divorces last summer, Us Weekly reported. They stepped out as a couple for the first time together over Halloween weekend and confirmed their relationship last November.

Digging further into her love life, host Bryan asked the singer if she has a specific preference when it comes to the men she dates.

"You know I've only had two boyfriends, right?" she asked, laughing. "So, when you say that, it just sounds funny because it's just been so limited. No I do not. That's a funny question."
