A teen who has ADHD complains of cyber-bullying after a number of students posted a video of his involuntary movements online. However, not everyone took pity of him but instead defended the bullies.

Levi Null, 13, from Melcher-Dallas said that he is hesitant to go to school after some students uploaded a video showing his involuntary movements caused by Asperger’s Syndrome. His mother stood by his son and said that these students did it to humiliate his son.

Levi Weatherly, father of the student who uploaded the video, admitted that it was wrong but wouldn’t blame his son because the victim invites most of the bullying to himself.

Weatherly told whotv.com, “Yes he does. I would say three-fourths of this stuff he brings on himself and probably a fourth of it is bullying that shouldn’t be going on.”

Many of Levi’s neighbors think the same as what Weatherly thinks.

After the video was posted, many reacted against Levi.

One of the comments said, “He called my nephew a nasty name and my nephew Cole cocked (sic) him in the mouth. I`m proud of my nephew for doing that.”

Another one said, “This kid has done things to get people mad that I think he could probably control.”

However, Levi received support from autism specialists.

Evelyn Horton, an autism specialist, said, “Individuals with autism don’t have the ability to turn it off and turn it on. They may sometimes respond to the environment that they’re in and respond more strongly than they may at other times.”

According to an e-mail sent by the principal at Levis High School to Levi’s mom, the ““…Video posted online was not found to be bullying,” because it did not meet up with the criteria.

As of the moment, the principal can’t be reached for any comment.
