Ever since breaking out of her Disney roles, Demi Lovato has emerged a force to be reckoned with on the pop scene, her latest album "Demi" her most mature and personal yet, and the 21-year-old "X-Factor" judge recently revealed a preview of her edgy new music video for her latest single, "Neon Lights."

The single is fitting, as it's also the name of her new tour, "The Neon Lights Tour," which will begin in the U.S. and later move on to South America and later other countries next year. On tour, Lovato will be joined by "X-Factor" runner-ups Fifth Harmony, a girl group that she helped put together on the second season of the hit FOX show, as well as U.K. "X-Factor" winners Little Mix and runner-up Cher Lloyd.

As for the new music video, set to premiere Nov. 21 on Vevo, it's an edgy follow-up to her video for her hit single "Heart Attack," featuring Lovato lit up in neon against black lights, submerged (seemingly) naked in a pool of purple-blue water, stretching out in a black catsuit in the rain and enjoying a rowdy rave while donning her bright blue hair, her latest crazy color.

Lovato tweeted "#thanksyoga" along with a series of video stills, which she released to fans today as thanks for reaching 20 million followers on Twitter.

Even though she suffers from an eating disorder, the star has been extremely open about her struggles since entering treatment back in 2010 for a number of issues, and has chosen to bravely show some skin for her latest project. At the time she left her Disney Channel show "Sonny With a Chance," Lovato said it would be too painful for her to be on-screen and be able to see all of her flaws on television, though she has since renewed her role as a judge and mentor on "The X-Factor" and has gotten more comfortable with her body and self-image.

"Instead of looking in the mirror and focusing on your flaws, look in the mirror and appreciate your best features... everyone has them," she tweeted earlier today. Lovato's new book of inspirational quotes, "Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year," is out in stores now, and contains similar positive thoughts for fans to enjoy.
