In Thursday’s episode of “The Vampire Diaries” Bonnie fans finally got what they wanted as she was made the anchor to the other side and given a chance to live again.

However, as with most things that happen on this show, the magic which brought her back to life now comes with a consequence.

As we witnessed during the last episode being the anchor to the other side is quite painful. Due to her new job as the anchor , people now have to literally pass through her after death. When Tessa did so, she had Bonnie on the floor in excruciating pain.

According to the preview for next week’s episode we’ll get to see her physically deal with that pain while trying to be happy with Jeremy at the same time.

However, the video also shows Bonnie won’t be the only one going through some troubles. Stefan will be dealing with some issues of the Silas variety.

The younger Salvatore brother was under the impression killing Silas would finally give him the peace he needed. He was wrong. Stefan is still being tormented by his memories of the time he spent in the safe. Katherine tries to help out him out which unfortunately doesn’t work out for her. You can see why in the preview below.

“The Vampire Diaries” airs Thursdays at 8/7c on The CW.
