Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey ended press rumors and confirmed that four top executives of the social media company will be leaving for "well-deserved time off."

Alex Roetter, senior vice president of engineering, Brian "Skip" Schipper, vice president of human resources, Katie Stanton, vice president of global media, and Kevin Weil, senior vice president of product, had chosen to leave the company, Dorsey confirmed through a late night tweet, according to Los Angeles Times.

Roetter, Weil and Stanton have confirmed their departures via Twitter:

"All four will be taking some well-deserved time off. I'm personally grateful to each of them for everything they've contributed to Twitter and our purpose in the world," said Dorsey in the statement attached to his tweet.

Jason Toff, general manager of Vine, which is an app owned by Twitter, will also be leaving the company to go work on the Virtual Reality projects of Google.

Taking the place of the leaving execs are two Adams - Adam Messinger, currently Twitter's chief technology officer, who will be overseeing engineering and product, and Adam Bain, current chief operating officer who will be given the responsibilities to take charge of media and human resources on an interim basis - according to USA Today.
