There is an new addition to the royal family, as Lord Frederick Windsor's wife Sophie Winkleman gave birth to a baby girl, a new cousin for Prince George and Princess Charlotte, on Jan. 16.

"Lord and Lady Frederick Windsor have this morning announced the birth of their second daughter, Isabella Alexandra Mary Windsor," a spokesperson said, according to Us Weekly.

"The baby was safely delivered at 11:59 p.m. on 16th January 2016 at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital."

"Her Majesty the Queen has been informed. Prince and Princess Michael of Kent's family and Lady Frederick's family are delighted with the news," the statement added, according to The Herald Scotland.

The couple already has an elder daughter, 2-year-old Maud Elizabeth Daphne Marina, who was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on Aug. 15, 2013.

Princess Michael of Kent, Lord Windsor's mother, is more than welcome to see her two grandchildren when the couple gets back.

"My granddaughter was two in August and I can't wait to play with her. I'm besotted and there will be lots of games. I'm sure I'll be just as besotted with the second one," Princess Michael said, according to Hello.
