One of the many laws of the Internet is cute kid + dog = viral video. This adage was once again proven by the following video in which a delightful pit bull rescue named Oakland does his best to emulate his acrobatic owner's cartwheels. Watch below.

The pit bull tries not once but twice to copy the cartwheel, failing and flailing hilariously with his legs in the air. The bond between the dog and his 9-year-old owner, Kailyn, is apparent in the video, said CBS Local. Kailyn's mom Jacqueline Sloan Ziegler posted the video on her Facebook and it has now been seen more than seven million times, reported the Daily Mail.

The pup now has his own Facebook page, which his owners intend to use to spread awareness about wonderful pit bulls and about how important it is to give all rescue dogs a second chance at a good life. The Ziegler family has had Oakland for a year now, and he has become a cherished member of the clan. He was adopted from the hilariously-named Pit Happens rescue.

The controversy surrounding pit bulls is in stark contrast to the thousands of positive examples of pit bulls, like this one. It's all about the owner - pit bulls are as wonderful and caring as any other dog, as you can see above.
