The Kansas City Chiefs dominated the Houston Texans in the first game of the NFL playoffs this Saturday 30-0, but lost a key piece in the process as star wide receiver Jeremy Maclin was ruled out with a knee injury. Maclin has suffered an ACL injury, but it's unclear if there is a significant tear, according to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport.

Maclin was reportedly not in pain after the game, but the team is worried about the right knee as he has torn that ACL twice before. The Chiefs wideout is expected to undergo an MRI Sunday morning to reveal the severity of the injury, and head coach Andy Reid stated that the Chief passcatcher had strained his knee. Maclin was the leading receiver for the Chiefs this season with 1,088 yards and was one also of their biggest playmakers, scoring eight touchdowns.

Kansas City's star wide receiver had three receptions for 29 yards prior to the injury Saturday, now but the team likely anxiously awaits the results from his MRI, scheduled for tomorrow. Reid is likely hoping Maclin is able to return next weekend, as the Chiefs will play the winner of tonight's Steelers-Bengals game in the divisional round.
