If there’s one thing "NCIS" has no shortage of, it’s hilarious awkward moments—and poor McGee has been in the middle of many of them.

Well, according to TVLine.com, he may have to relive one of those moments. The website reports Diane Sterling—you might now her as Gibbs’ and Fornell’s ex-wife—will make another appearence on the show.

Last season, McGee had a weird experience when Diane slept over his apartment. In a really peculiar exchange with McGee, Diane asks for a hug. McGee is reluctant to give it to her but eventually does. When McGee wakes up next morning he realizes he’s cuddling with Diane on the couch. Unfortunately for him, Gibbs and Fornell are standing over him and witnessing the little cuddling session. Poor, McGee.

In less awkward "NCIS" news, Emily Wickersham has been promoted to a series regular prior to her debut on the show. According to a press release on CBS.com, Wickersham will make her first appearance as NSA Analyst Eleanor “Elle” Bishop (also known as Ziva’s replacement) on Nov. 19.

In the press release show runner Gary Glasberg said Wickersham’s character will bring something to the team in her own way.

“What drew me to Bishop is how she views the world. She looks at things in a global way — and that’s true of personal lives as well as the work,” Glasberg said of Bishop, according to the release. “She will shed some light on everybody, on who our people are, as well on the way that politics and terrorism and crimes are handled. She possesses an interesting mind, an intellectual, smart way to approach doing what this team does — not with kicks and punches and knocking down doors but by really thinking. She’s very much a thinker.”

“NCIS” airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on CBS.
