Steven Anthony Lawrence, the actor best known for his role as Bernard "Beans" Aranguren on Disney's hit early-2000s series "Even Stevens," is working as one of santa's helpers at a California mall, reported E! News. The former child star is delighting fans and shoppers who have flocked to Concord's Sunvalley Shopping Center (located about 30 miles north of San Francisco) in search of a photo with him instead of Saint Nick, reported the Daily Mail. After posing for multiple pictures, which were later uploaded to Instagram and Twitter, Lawrence has become somewhat of a social media star.

"Hey guys look who's my coworker "beans" from Even Stevens," Instagram user @kevs_back wrote in a post dated three weeks ago.

"Please ignore my makeupless/tired/floorset face but you guys #BEANS from #EvenStevens works at my mall!!! #gohomebeans," Instagram user _sailorgloom_ wrote in the caption of her photo, uploaded two weeks ago.

Lawrence worked on "Even Stevens," which aired for three seasons between 2001 and 2003, and also starred in 2003's "The Even Stevens Movie," according to IMDB. Even though the series was short-lived, Lawrence told the Huffington Post earlier this year that fans still recognize him from the show.

"It's really weird," Lawrence told the Huffington Post. "I feel like I've changed so much when I look in the mirror. I don't know how people even barely recognize me. But I'll be walking down the street and people drive by for two seconds and automatically they'll go, 'Oh, my God! You're Beans! Ahhh!'"

On "Even Stevens," the 25-year-old starred alongside Shia LaBeouf, who played Louis Stevens. LaBeouf went on to star in the "Transformers" film franchise and many other major motion pictures.
