Calvin Klein launched CK One, a unisex fragrance, 21 years ago, and it remains a classic favorite. The fashion brand is following it up with the release of CK2, dubbing it a "gender-free" perfume.

"CK2 is a new gender-free fragrance that celebrates the endless possibilities of modern connections between two people," said Calvin Klein Executive Vice President Camillo Pane, via WWD. The latest unisex perfume is said to be designed with millennials in mind to "reach a younger consumer base through modern, authentic storytelling," said CK Marketing Officer Melissa Goldie.

CK2 carries an "urban woodsy scent" with hints of mandarin, sandalwood and violet leaf, wasabi and wet cobblestones, according to the Telegraph. The perfume's bottle comes with an innovative design that features a minimalist glass cylinder. The bottle has to be placed or displayed upside down.

The perfume will be launched in February 2016 in three sizes, and it will come in pocket spray and rollerball versions, according to The Gloss. However, World Duty Free (WDF) has some bottles on sale in time for the holidays.

"We are continually looking for opportunities to bring new and exciting products to our customers by launching exclusively ahead of the domestic market; WDF has already done this very successfully with a number of great brands, underlining the scale and reach of beauty within travel retail," a WDF spokesperson said in the Telegraph report. "We are delighted to bring CK2 to WDF's customers a full two months ahead of its availability off airport and expect to see very strong sales results on the back of this exclusive launch."
