The Originals Spoilers: Cami Knows Klaus' Secret [WATCH]; Their Relationship Gets More Complicated

Last week I was a little curious about a conversation Klaus has with Camille in tonight’s episode of "The Originals." In a sneak peek provided exclusively to the Entertainment Weekly website, the original hybrid is telling Cami that he wants to save Davina and protect Hayley even though he doesn’t use their names.

Understandably, this prompted some questions—Why is Klaus telling her his secrets? Does he trust her or has she been compelled?

Well, a recent sneak peek helps answer some of those questions.

In the video Klaus walks up to Cami at the bar and she provides a very illuminating greeting:

“How is it that when you come up to me now and no one else is around I suddenly remember that you just told me you’re a vampire and you’re mind controlling me? And then you leave and I go back to thinking you’re some hot guy with a cute accent and money to burn on your sprawling memoir?”

It appears Klaus is more interested in using Cami as a weapon against Marcel rather than being her friend or more. However, part of me feels he told her his dark secret because he wants both—to use her as a weapon and have her as a friend.

Klaus is obviously fascinated with Cami even though that won’t translate to a romantic relationship in the nea future. So what exactly is their relationship? All we know (and as I said before) is that complicated.
