Late in September, all Apple iOS users were treated to a brand new operating system by the name of iOS 7. Since that time, Android users have only been able to sit and wonder when their time to shine in the light of a new operating system will be. Now, thanks to hinting Tweets from @KitKat, the wait might be almost over.

Rumors and hints from the Android rumor mill have been speculating that the update will arrive sometime in Oct. alongside the Nexus 5. Earlier this year, Google Android and Nestle made a deal to name the next version of the operating system after the popular chocolate candy, KitKat. Since that time, KitKat has made the signature Android robot a major part of its Twitter presence and marketing.

In recent days, KitKat has been tweeting a series of clues that might indicate the release date of Oct. 28 for the new operating system. The first clue came on Tuesday when the account posted a picture of the Android robot made of KitKat bars in a dance position with the caption "Everybody dance now!"

The popular song lyric is a bit intriguing to some as it's from the song "Gonna Make You Sweat" by the group C+C Music Factory. The original name for the group was the 28th Street Crew.

Another Tweet from the chocolate candy company, sent out on Wednesday, had the words "This is it" spelled out with KitKat Bars and a caption that read "Sometimes you have to look for the signs..."

"This is it" could be a reference to Michael Jackson's documentary movie, which according to the L.A. Times came out on - you guessed it, Oct. 28. While these supposed "clues" seem a little far-fetched, it's not entirely unlike Android to make subtle hints and leave small puzzles for a release date.
