Dakota Johnson is not quitting "Fifty Shades of Grey" and is in fact excited to meet the new Christian Grey. A source told Hollywood Life that even though she had excellent chemistry with Charlie Hunnam, who backed out of the lead male role, she wants to help Universal Picture and Focus Features find the next actor to play her dominant, kinky boyfriend.

"For Dakota, she was sad that Charlie had to back out but she is very excited to see who will take the role," a source said. "She is in constant contact with producers and the studio and she is very willing to help out in any way and is looking forward to do readings with everyone who is available for the role. She is taking things well since she is still a part of the film."

Universal and Focus said Hunnam's exit was because of his "immersive TV schedule" that was not allowing him to prepare for the role but other reports claims he got cold feet and wasn't ready for the fame that came along with the role.

There have been reports that Johnson could be losing her role as Anastasia Steele now that Hunnam was gone but a source told the website that she has nothing to worry about because producers are "casting the actor with her in mind."

So far the studios have not decided on a replacement yet but are reportedly considering Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomar and Robert Pattinson. Pattinson reportedly doesn't want the role because he doesn't want to do another big franchise.

"Rob is not going to change his mind for doing the film, he doesn't want to commit to multiple films and another franchise," the source said. "He wants his career to go in a completely different route. Add that to the fact that he is not the number one pick from the producers, it's just not happening."

According to rumors E.L. James didn't want Somerhalder to play Grey and Matt Bomer said he wasn't interested.
