A California woman was arrested after making it across the border smuggling 27 pounds of meth into San Diego after accidetally driving into the wrong parking lot, reported The Smoking Gun.

Sylvia Mashiah, 34, re-entered the U.S. through the Otay Mesa Port of Entry, which is one of the three entry points between San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico. She accidentally turned into a secondary parking lot reserved for suspicious cars, according to Complex. Then the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents inspected her car and found the meth inside of the rear quarter panels.

The single wrong turn could cost the California drug smuggler more than six years in federal prison, reported One News Page. Mashiah pleaded guilty to the felony charge and was sentenced to 75 months in federal prison, according to court records.

The wrong-turn narcotics smuggler is now serving time at the federal lockup in Dublin, Calif., which is about 40 miles east of San Francisco, noted The Smoking Gun.
