Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater suffered a concussion Sunday against the St. Louis Rams, according to ESPN's Ben Goessling. Bridgewater wasn't the only big name to suffer a head injury though, as Oakland Raiders running back Latavius Murray also suffered a concussion and is going through the league's protocol, according to ESPN's Bill Williamson.

Bridgewater suffered the concussion after being elbowed in the head by Ram safety Lamarcus Joyner in the fourth quarter. There was 13 minutes and 36 seconds left in the fourth quarter when Bridgewater was injured, but the Vikings were able to pull out the win 21-18. The Vikings are now 6-2 on the season, and are tied with the Packers for the NFC North division lead. Bridgewater will go through the league's concussion protocol, and Shaun Hill will likely prepare with the first team this week.

Bridgewater reportedly felt fine after the game, and was heading out to dinner to celebrate the win, according to Pro Football Talk. Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer pointed the finger at St. Louis defensive coordinator Gregg Williams for the questionable hit. "I agree that it was a cheap shot," said Zimmer, via ESPN. "(Gregg Williams') defenses are all like that."

Murray will have to go through the same process as Bridgewater, as the two will have to pass a series off tests before they are allowed to return to practice or a game. Murray suffered the concussion late in the third quarter after being hit by Steelers safety Mike Mitchell. The Raiders running back fumbled the ball, which was recovered by Pittsburgh.

The Raiders lost to the Steelers in overtime 38-35, but are still alive as playoff contenders at 4-4 on the season. The Raiders host the Minnesota Vikings next week, and both Bridgewater and Murray will have to clear the concussion protocol if they want to play against one another.
