A peanut butter party? Let us RSVP now! (And not just because peanut butter is always a yes.) Remember the old game: what five people would you invite to your fantasy dinner party? Well, we would start with Gemma the pit bull and Elliot the toddler at the top of the list.

Best friends through thick and thin, indeed they are, notes One Green Planet. When they are handed a pair of big spatulas with peanut butter on them, it's like getting the cake batter beaters when you were a kid. Life should be that simple!

Well, isn't that the truth! As we are speeding toward the hectic holiday season, we should all embrace that attitude, and not forget the little things in life as we get older. We should listen to Elliot and Gemma. We should wake up thrilled that we are alive! And we should all walk to the kitchen right now, put a spatula into the peanut butter jar and sit down with a peanut butter lollipop. It's a treat, but would be even sweeter with a friend like Gemma.
