HTC has already encroached upon the android dominance of  Samsung with its flagship model, HTC One. Now the brand is going a step further to cement its presence by   launching the successor to HTC One, the HTC One Max.

Pictures of the device have appeared on the net a couple of times hinting that the HTC phone will be launched on the U.S. carriers AT & T and Sprint. A recent post on AndroidandMe showed two leaked images of the device bearing the Verizon logo indicating it will be available on Verizon alongside AT&T and Sprint.

The smartphone with the Verizon logo was apparently shot by a sales representative at a Verizon store. The phone has a removable back cover and a rear finger print scanner.

As the earlier leaks suggested, the HTC One Max is expected to be powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a 3,200 battery mAh. The phone will come in two other variants - 32GB and 64GB. The device is predicted to carry the upgraded 4.3 Android version, reports GSMarena.

The phone is likely to feature an Ultrapixel Camera with optical image stabilization. There is no word yet either on the external memory slot or its front camera. The phone is likely to offer  better sound clarity than other HTC devices with Boom Sound dual stereo front facing speakers.

The Unlockr report  says that the device will be equipped with a "premium" stylus, and the brand is working on a supporting cast of software to make use of the new tool. HTC is also reportedly designing a specially-crafted "power jacket" case for the phone, which will not only protect it but supplement the internal battery with an additional 1250mAh capacity.

In terms of connectivity, the device is said to include NFC, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE and DLNA. The smartphone is likely to be released October-end, according to some reports. However, the Taiwan-based tech giant has not come up with any specific release date or price tag for now.
