One of the things I wished for in second season of “Grimm” was for Hank (Russell Hornsby) to get a win in his love life. According to TVLine, he just might get one.

Sharon Leal (“Suits”, “Private Practice”, “Guiding Light”) has been cast as Zuri Ellis, the physical therapist that has been working with Hank to rehab the ankle he injured in Season 2.

“There’ll be some kind of romantic thing with Hank,” said show co-creator David Greenwalt in an interview with TVLine.

“Smart, beautiful and mysterious” are the words used to characterize Zuri, according to the website. However, when it comes down to whether or not that mystery will include a Wesen background, Greenwalt says nothing is written in stone.

"We’re not sure if it’s going to be a Wesen girlfriend or not,” he explained.

If it turns out that Zuri is Wesen, let’s hope that he fares better with her than the previous Wesen girl he dated. For those of you who don’t remember, Frank was manipulated into a romantic relationship with Adalind (Claire Coffee) so she could seriously mess with his mind. It took him a while to get back to normal.

When we return to Grimm in Season 3, Nick (David Giuntoli) is still a mindless zombie and according to co-creator James Kouf, our beloved hero isn’t going to be good as new right away.

“It’s going to take a couple of scripts to get Nick back into shape. Gotta say, he’s having a tough time. It hasn’t been easy on him,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

Season 3 of “Grimm” premieres Friday, Oct. 25 at 8/7c on NBC.
