Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor has not been ruled out this week against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to NFL reporter Kevin Patra.

"I would not rule out Tyrod Taylor as starting this week," head coach Rex Ryan said, via nfl.com. "Although I know it's widely reported that that's the case. We will see, that's a possibility. I certainly wouldn't count Tyrod Taylor out. He did finish the game this past week. I can tell you this: He's go heart, he's got toughness and he's got a lot of ability. I definitely would not rule him out."

Taylor reportedly suffered an MCL injury, and it was reported that the Bills would go with EJ Manuel this weekend, according Jeremy Bergman via nfl.com. The Bills have also signed quarterback Josh Johnson as a likely insurance plan in case anything happens to Manuel.

Taylor has performed well this season for Buffalo and has them off to a 3-2 start. He has thrown for 1,097 yards with nine touchdowns to only four interceptions. Taylor can also move the ball with his feet, as he has rushed for 187 yards this season with two touchdowns.

It is unclear if Ryan is using Taylor as a diversion for the Bengals, or if he will actually play this weekend against Cincinnati. The Bengals are coming in undefeated, and Buffalo will likely need a big performance from whichever quarterback starts Sunday.
