Isabella Cruise, Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise's adopted daughter, married her boyfriend of less than a year, Max Parker, in a secret wedding Sept. 18 in London, and when Woman's Day magazine got a hold of some photos, Cruise was noticeably absent. It was said that Kidman was present, even though there weren't any photos of her either, but new reports claim that Kidman wasn't even aware the ceremony was taking place.

"The wedding was a Scientology ceremony," a source close to the family told Page Six. "Nicole wasn't there — she didn't even know about it at all." This source is also saying that Cruise, 53, was in attendance, since he was already in Europe promoting a movie, and the entire wedding "was all arranged so he would be there, which he was." But other reports still claim he was not there.

To make matters worse, Kidman, 48, was also in London, performing in the play "Photograph 51" at the West End Theatre, a source told Entertainment Tonight. She did not miss her performance the night of the wedding and some are saying she was "banned" from the wedding, but the exact details are still unclear, according to Wonderwall.

The former couple's 22-year-old daughter and the British I.T. consultant exchanged vows in front of a very small group of friends. She wanted it to be as low-key and private as possible, so it would make sense that she would decide against inviting her parents, who are A-list celebrities, according to People. Cruise fully supports his daughter and their relationship, though, and paid for the entire wedding.

The sources who say Kidman was banned believe it was because it was a Scientology wedding, which is a topic she repeatedly ignores during interviews. Back in July, she refused to answer any questions about the religion in an interview with Vogue. "Kidman passed on the opportunity to speak to the makers of the [Scientology] film ["Going Clear"]," wrote Vogue writer Jason Gay, "and has consistently turned away requests to comment out of respect for her children with Cruise."

Neither Cruise nor Kidman have commented on whether or not they were in attendance.
