LG's V10 is the latest smartphone to be unveiled by the company, and many are intrigued by its unique boast of having two usable screens, according to Gizmodo.

In this digital age, companies struggle to lead the pack in terms of cell phone technology with many features being quickly absorbed into competitors pockets not long after they've come out.

LG hopes that the V10 will be a leader in its use of two screens.

The phone has 5.7 inches devoted to regular phone use, but above it, there is a smaller screen just .2 inches that can be used for quick reference, opening frequently used apps, holding the time and speeding up the process of getting to other apps, according to USA Today.

Many will find that the screen seems very similar to the Note Edge 4, but this screen sets itself apart because it always remains on.

In terms of energy usage, developers say the tiny screen only takes up about 5 percent power when in use.

The "V" in V10 is believed to highlight the phone's powerful image capturing capabilities, with 16:9 or 21:9 aspect ratios, up to 4K of video (with additional memory available to be added), shutter speed control, ISO and two front cameras, according to Wired.

The two cameras supposedly take pictures from different angles, thereby eliminating the need for a selfie stick.
