New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz announced that he will make his 2015 NFL debut against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday, according to Paul Schwartz of the nypost.com.

"The return is here," said Cruz, via a video on bleacherreport.com. "I just wanted to make sure that I'm 100 percent before I go back out there. I want to be clicking on all cylinders. I want everything to be full force just to prevent another injury. So I'm excited man. I'm excited for our team. We've got a lot of talent, a lot of young kids that are ready to play and that are playing very well, as well as some veterans that are playing well and really doing their thing."

Cruz has not practiced since Aug. 17, due to a calf injury. Cruz is coming back from a ruptured patella tendon that ended his season early in 2014. The Giants are coming off a big win against a divisional opponent, beating the Washington Redskins on Thursday, 32-21.

The Giants will have a tough match up this week, as they are going into Buffalo to play the Bills. The Bills have the second worse pass defense in terms of yards per game, with only the Giants behind them. While the Bills have given up passing yards, it is important to note that they are the 14th best team in terms of points allowed, and except for their game against the Patriots, they have held teams under 15 points.

Cruz is a risky fantasy play this week because it's truly unknown how much time he will need to readjust to game speed. Odell Beckham Jr., may be the only smart play this week, and it may prove to be a difficult game even for him against the Bills' defense.

Cruz, Shane Vereen, and Larry Donnell can be viable fantasy options for the Giants, but this week it's probably best to bench them.

Donnell may be a harder player to gauge, as he is a hit or miss fantasy play, and some considered him to be the highest risk player to draft for fantasy this season. The Giants will likely need Cruz to step up this weekend, but it is unlikely that he has a huge game in his first start this season.

"I'm excited to team up with Odell, man. It's gonna be fun," said Cruz, via bleacherreport.com. "I'm excited to come back individually and join my team and join my teammates and be that explosive player that I once was and be that again, and be confident that I can be that again."
