Kim Kardashian is still trying to shed her baby weight and is now going on a strict no-carb diet so she can quickly drop the last 10 pounds, the Daily Mail reports. It has been rumored that the reality star is frustrated because she hasn't lost the weight as fast as she thought she would.

It's estimated that she has dropped at least 40 pounds since giving birth to her daughter North West in June but the last couple pounds are harder for her to get off. That's why she decided to go on a carb-free diet.

"In August Kim got frustrated because she hit a plateau even though she was eating mostly proteins and veggies," a source told Us Weekly. "She's working out here and there, but it's mainly about the food, Atkins-style."

"Kim's determined to stick to the plan," the source continued. "She finally feels good again."

According to an older report by Us Weekly, the reality star has enlisted the help of celebrity fitness guru Tracy Anderson. Anderson said she would have Kardashian back in shape in no time but didn't want her to stress about the weight loss.

"She's a gorgeous woman. I think the reason why the weight is coming off is because she's very connected," Anderson said. "I went and met little North and Kim's really taking it in stride. She's really connected to the baby, which is what's important. She's focused on the baby and nursing and taking her time."

The new mom was recently spotted with her friend Blac Chyna as she filmed an episode for "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." She looked a lot slimmer in an army green jumpsuit and beige high heels. There are new reports that Kardashian is so desperate to drop the weight because she is planning a wedding with boyfriend Kanye West.
