The Cereal Killer Cafe in London, a hipster cafe known for selling only milk and cereal, was attacked by anti-gentrification protesters. The protesters are against the conversion of local houses and establishments into different kinds of business to improve property values. The cafe, located in Brick Lane, was not favorable for the protesters because these kinds of establishments take away their customers resulting in a loss of income. Cereal Killer Cafe, pioneered by Irish twins, serve cereals and milk from all over the world that could cost up to $6.50 for a bowl, The Examiner reported.

The anarchist protesters identify themselves as the "Class War" and the event was tagged as the 'F--- Parade" that not only campaigns for affordable housing but have a sense of dislike for small businesses they have labelled as "hipster." The group said that there might have been an estimated 1,000 people who joined the group's protest, London 24 reported. Estate agent Marsh and Parsons had their establishment's windows destroyed which the group also tweeted. The group then attacked the "hipster" cafe.

The group advertised their protest all over social media.  "Our communities are being ripped apart - by Russian oligarchs, Saudi Sheiks, Israeli scumbag property developers, Texan oil-money t---s and our own home-grown Eton toffs," the group wrote on Facebook.

"Soon this City will be an unrecognisable, bland, yuppie infested wasteland with no room for normal (and not so normal) people like us," Telegraph UK reported.

The owners of the establishments were terrified of what happened.

"It was intense. It wasn't expected. I couldn't believe it was happening. I wasn't there at the time, but I came down as soon as possible to help. They had pigs heads and torches. They wrote the word 'scum,'" said Gary Keery, one of the co-founders of the Cereal Killer Cafe, according to the Inquisitr.

There was only one arrest made and an officer suffered non-fatal facial injuries during the riot which went on around 8 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., local time, according to the Metropolitan Police spokesman.
