A suspect has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after going to a church in Alabama and shooting a woman, an infant and a pastor.

The incident happened Sunday at the Oasis Church in East Selma, Ala. when the suspect, identified as James Minter came inside the church looking to settle a domestic issue between him and the woman, Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson said, according to ABC's Houston affiliate ABC 13.

Neither Minter's age or hometown have been made available by police, reported ABC News. Both will be released at a later date.

The pastor wounded in the incident was white, while both Minter and the two other victims were black, reported CBS News. As such, authorities have ruled out any notion of this being racially motivated, and are focusing entirely on the alleged domestic issue betwen Minter and the woman.

Jackson revealed that Minter is currently being held at the Dallas County Jail without bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
