Italian giants Juventus are hoping to sign Alvaro Morata to a permanent deal in the near future, according to AS.com. The Real Madrid striker is with Juventus on loan, but the Italian side would love a new deal that keeps him at the club for many more seasons.

Just how big of a contract deal is Juventus planning? A 3.5 million euro-a-year deal, AS.com reported. The only two players for Juventus that are receiving more money than Morata are Paul Pogba and Gianluigi Buffon, two players that have earned their lucrative contracts and also enjoy the attacking presence that Morata has provided this season.

Morata has earned his keep with Juventus, scoring goals and providing a resurgence in the offense, which has not been seen in many seasons. Since joining the club, Morata has tallied 13 goals last season and just scored the winning goal against Manchester City in UEFA Champions League play.

Concerns of Real Madrid activating Morata's 35 million euro release clause is possible, yet Morata made it known that he is happy at Juventus, according to ESPN FC

"I'm delighted at Juventus. I'm really happy here, and could not imagine myself at any other club," Morata said in a recent interview with Mediaset television.

Juventus has their own problems with securing players willing to stay for multiple seasons. If they can land Morata on a long-term deal, there is a great chance of Serie A success and even another deep Champions League run.
