Actor Matt McGorry came to model Amber Rose's defense after her "Walk of No Shame" video received backlash for its anti slut-shaming message, People reported. The "Orange is the New Black" star took to Facebook to explain why he felt it was important for him to be involved in her "Funny or Die" video.

"I was absolutely thrilled when Amber Rose asked me to be a part of this sketch," McGorry wrote on Facebook. "If only we lived in a world where people didn't treat women with these massive double standards."

The video in question is Rose's "Funny or Die" sketch where she gave the "walk of shame" a new, positive meaning. In "Walk of No Shame," Rose strutted her stuff on her way home the morning after a one-night stand. Rose walked barefoot, still wearing last night's club dress and holding her high heels in her hand, with her head held high.

McGorry made a cameo as Rose's partner who stopped to tell her she forgot to leave her number after their night together.

"My absolute favorite part is Amber's reaction to me at the end," McGorry continued. "Heavens forbid a woman just wants to have sex with a guy once. 'Strong women scare weak men.' Stay empowered."

Rose reposted a screenshot of his message on Instagram for her followers to read, and wrote "This is why I needed @mattmcgorry to do this with me!" in the caption.
