The Season 4 finale of “Rookie Blue” left many of us viewers very sad. At first, the finale looked like it would end alright but the tide quickly turned as Sam (Ben Bass) was shot, Chloe’s (Priscilla Faia) husband Wes (Cle Bennett) decided to hold off on the procedure and Nick (Peter Mooney) and Andy (Missy Peregrym) were left in a state of uncertainty about their relationship. With that said—here is my Season 5 wishlist for Rookie Blue:

No. 1—Keep Nick/Andy alive:

I know that Sam’s injury was devastating and I know Andy will be there for him but this situation, and I know she confessed her love to him* while they were in the ambulance but this CANNOT produce a relationship. Nick and Andy are great together. Whatever they had while undercover blossomed into something real and they were in the midst of discovering what that was. Also, I really don’t want to see Andy and Sam go another round. There’s a chance that ends badly all over again.

No. 2—A second chance for Dov

If there as a couple to root for the entire season it was definitely Chloe/Dov (Gregory Smith). I literally felt like a part of me died when she was shot. (I mean why Chloe? She was literally the nicest person in the entire division.) So, hopefully most of you fans were extremely annoyed when Wes decided not to get the procedure. If she survives and makes it to next season, there has to be some way to have her and Wes get a divorce and make Chloe/Dov a thing once more—they belong together.

No. 3—Let’s go with the major villain again, that was a good idea

I want to see Tassie Cameron and her team top the character of Kevin Ford (Michael Cram) next season. It was a great idea and the suspense for the two episodes was excellent to say the least. Let’s see if they can provide even more for Season 5.
